pirates, die hard, transformers, maybe harry potter. anything my cousins will go see with me (movies alone = pathetic, although I have never done it. i'm just guessing)

Going to the movies alone is not pathetic. I've gone alone to the movies several times (to see Harry Potter, Talladega Nights, Pan's Labyrinth, Blades of Glory). Going by yourself means you can go when you want and see what you want.
I agree - it's very hard to please more than yourself with movie selection. Besides, aren't you supposed to be quiet during a movie? So, who needs company that begs for conversation?!?
I think it took Hollywood 20 years (more?) to make a Transformers movie because they knew that if Optimus Prime didn't look cool enough computers would take extreme umbrage and rise up against their former masters. I'm just sayin'
